Mobile Anarchist School and Deep Green
Resistance capped off their Philippine Infotour this February 15 to 19
in Marinduque, the heart of the Philippine Archipelago. They visited the
old mining site of Marcopper Mining Corporation and experienced the
traditional putong during the 1st day of their infotour in Marinduque
State College. They proceeded to the MSC School of Fisheries in
Banuyo,Gasan to discuss Post Haiyan Disaster Response and Gender
Friendly Technologies. Then, they had lunch at the MSC Matalaba campus
while some BS Elementary Teacher education read some MSC Gender and
Development materials as part of the Oh My GAD Bahaghari open archive
project. Finally, visited the MSC School of Agriculture to have an
exchange on permaculture design and a practical demo of solar energy. Deep Green Resistance and Mobile
Anarchist School take part in the last leg of their Philippine Infotour
in the heart of the Philippine Archipelago. The Macropper Mining
Corporation spill disaster is a prime reminder that civilization is not
the end-all and be-all praxis of development. On the other hand, based
on non-hierarchical, mutualism and autonomy, another world is possible.
BA Communication, Fisheries, Elementary Teacher Education and
Agriculture students interact and exchanged ideas and thoughts regarding
gender friendly technologies and post haiyan disaster response.
