"Updates on Women's Rights and Concerns & Rights-Based Approach to the LGBTQCI Issue"

A symposium was held this weekend by the Commission on Higher Education in cooperation with the Philippine Commission on Women, the Women and Gender Institute of Miriam College and the UP Center for Women's Studies. Educators and students from state colleges and universities all over the Philippines were in attendance, standing (or sitting, as it were) in solidarity for a great cause. Another great step towards a more affirmative and empowering educational system!
