Israeli claims Seven lives, Palestinians vows to exact revenge

The Israeli artillery attacked a soccer field in Sheja'eya, Eastern Gaza and killed at least 7 people including four adults and three children while wounding 10 others according to Xinhua news. The Islamic Hamas group's ministry of health, confirmed that the Israeli tanks fired at the civilians which resulted to casualties.

"This is an awful massacre committed against women and children," the Gaza emergency services spokesman, Abu Selmeya said as he was quoted by Xinhua during a news conference at Shiffa Hospital at the Gaza region. He also added that later on Tuesday evening, an Israeli jet shot at Islamic Jihad militants while trying to launch rockets from eastern Gaza City.

On the other hand, the Hamas' armed wing, promised to avenge the fatalities, the Al-Qassam Brigades spokesman Abu Obeida emphasized despite the attacks, the group would keep their calm as long as Israel is would keep theirs.

Abu Obeida was quoted by Xinhua saying that "we are studying the situation and we are evaluating it, but the occupation will pay a heavy price for its ongoing crimes committed against the Palestinian people."
